Participation in the XIII International Symposium on Antimicrobial Resistance: OLD INFECTIONS, NEW CHALLENGES TO ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE. AN OVERALL VIEW FROM DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, PREVENTION, CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

Annar Health Technologies participated in the XIII International Symposium on Bacterial Resistance held in virtual format from March 16 to 18, 2022, this event has become over the years one of the most important in the country on the subject of antimicrobial resistance. During this time when we have had to adapt to changes, the virtual format has allowed us to reach more people. This year the symposium had more than 1,735 people registered and 1,721 people logged on to the platform, with an average of 600 people per block of talks.

The session “Rapid diagnostic tests for intra-abdominal infection – where are we?” Dr. Philippe Montravers had an attendance of 792 people. There was also a virtual space where innovative technologies that have an impact on the areas related to infection control were presented, as well as networking sessions to get closer to the attendees.

This event has been a great contribution for healthcare workers, and especially for professionals involved in the treatment, diagnosis and control of infections.
