Review SARS-COV-2 Neutralizing Antibodies

Casa Comercial Asociada: DIA.PRO

Neutralizing antibodies to SARS COV 2 are antibodies capable of stopping the binding of host cell receptors to the virus receptor located on the spicule.

They are relevant because they are the antigenic target for vaccine development, and are responsible for host protection against infection.

Currently there are in vitro diagnostic products that allow the quantification of these IgG isotype antibodies that, when used with responsibility and knowledge, will provide valuable information to improve the management of vaccines and the knowledge of this viral infection.
